Bethany, who lives in Hawaii, still participates in surfing competitions against her peers, and will turn twenty in February. A movie based on her book "Soul Surfer" starts filming this month. 54 Year Old, James Bains, Wrongfully Imprisoned for 35 Years

James Bains was wrongfully convicted for kidnap and rape, and imprisoned for 35 years of his life. He was only 19 at the time. Since then, DNA evidence has determined his innocence. Bains is now 54, and has wasted his early years behind bars. But, he is not wallowing in self-pity, nor is he filled with anger. Who would blame him for being angry???!!! Instead, he looks forward to seeing his family and going back to school. As well as his continued faith in God. I wish you a blessed life, James Bains. In my book, you are a great man!

11 year old, Kyle Orent, raises $115,000 for charity

Kyle Orent, from Northport, New York, started a lemonade stand at the age of seven, and raised $115,000 USD in four years. The money is being collected "for Canine Companions for Independence, a nonprofit organization that trains dogs to help people with disabilities."

Kyle's motto is "You're never too little to make a difference."
